⚡ Ready to print💡 How to effectively use QR codes in advertising and business
📐 Minimum print size
For business cards and flyers, the minimum QR code size is 2 × 2 cm. For posters and signs, calculate the scanning distance: the distance to the viewer in meters divided by 10 (for example, to read from 3 meters, the QR code must be at least 30 × 30 cm).
🎯 Integration with advertising and UTM tags
When creating a QR code for outdoor advertising, booklets or printing, be sure to add UTM tags to the link through our UTM tag generator (utm_source=billboard&utm_medium=qr).
🎨 Contrast and readability
Smartphone cameras focus on the contrast between the background and dots. A dark pattern on a light background is read 3 times more reliably than inverted (white on black) codes. Avoid shades that are too pale and pastel.
🖼️ Why do you need the SVG vector format?
The SVG format can be scaled to any size without loss of sharpness or pixelation. Print houses and advertising agencies accept SVG for large format printing on banners, car branding and signs.
